~Heidi HO Let's GO!~

Day 1:

Meet at the Mt Vernon Train Station no later than 10 am. (Hikers can take the Train from King Station, Seattle, via Mt. Vernon).  Our Backcountry Wyld van will pick up our hikers and have coffee, tea, and snacks for the ride. Make sure you pack an extra duffle of clean clothes and anything else you may want when we get to the lodge. (Don't forget your swimsuit.) We will venture over HWY 20, stopping at Ross Lake for views and a rest break, then onto Rainy Pass. On our 2 1/2 hr ride, we will have a meet and greet and brief our hikers on the weekend adventure, safety, and rules! When we arrive at the Bridge Creek Trailhead, gear will be distributed.  The guides will go over the contents of your pack, and off we go!  Our first day of hiking was moderately easy.

A nice rolling trail that will end at our first-night camp spot right on Bridge Creek at 6.62 miles. Our guides will help everyone set up their sleep system, make a campfire, and have a fun journaling exercise.  We will make dinner and then sleep under the stars.

Day 2:

You will wake up to the fresh smell of coffee, and we will all have breakfast together and a short journaling exercise.  Break camp and be on the trail by 8 am. This day will be a little more challenging and longer in mileage.  There will be two bridge traverses on day 2. We will make it to Bridge Creek campsite after hiking 7.62 miles. We will make camp, cook dinner, play games, journal, and get a good night's rest before our next day of hiking.

Day 3:

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and breakfast. Break camp and hike 4 miles to High Bridge Historical Cabin and Ranger Station. There, we will board our transportation into Stehekin, stopping at the Famous Stehekin Bakery (every PCT thru-hiker's dream), on to Stehekin, where we rent bikes, and then have lunch in Stehekin. We will board the ferry in the early afternoon and take the beautiful 2-hour ride down Lake Chelan. We will meet the Backcountry Wyld van in Chelan and be driven to the adorable Bavarian village of Leavenworth, or Winthrop, which is approximately 45 minutes away. We will check into our accommodations, shower, nap, shop, and relax. Our final group dinner will be at 7 pm in Leavenworth or Sun Mountain Lodge. Let's celebrate our Backpacking adventure!
